All in all good value. Enchanting accommodation with unbeatable setting close to the shop, a quiet residential area and the sea front. The welcoming and affable staff all round. Lots of great options for meal. ...  

The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good variety, and the bar was stocked with nice drinks. The room was spacious and tidy. Having a fan was a nice surprise.

The shower could be updated, it ran too hot or too cold at weird times. The walk to the beach can be tough if ur using a walking stick.

Decent budget option

The double room was comfy with a tv and electric kettle. There was a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Heating worked well, and towels were clean. Breakfast had a flexible menu and was served until 11 AM, providing good value. Location was pretty close to the beach.

The homemade cakes in the bar are a must-try, pure bliss with every bite! Plus, the breakfast spread was excellent with a good variety to fuel your adventures. Super chill staff made it all even better....  

I had a lovely time staying here for three nights! The breakfast was great, and I really enjoyed the cozy lounge and the outdoor seating areas. Just a heads-up, the coffee could've been stronger, but it didn't take away from my overall experience. 😊

The homemade cakes were the highlight of my stay—absolutely divine! The room was tidy and comfortable, but I did find the shower a bit finicky. Still, I'd definitely come back for those treats! 🍰

Convenient location and friendly service

I stayed here for 3 nights in a Double Room and found the location perfect for exploring the nearby beach and town center. The friendly staff created a cute atmosphere, and I appreciated thenice and neat room. While the breakfast options were excellent, I noticed some areas could use a little maintenance to enhance the overall experience.

While the room had character, the cleanliness left something to be desired with dusty surfaces and poorly maintained windows. The shower was temperamental, often fluctuating between scorching and icy cold, especially after a long day. Parking proved difficult due to suspended street parking, forcing a lengthy trek with luggage, less than ideal.

Staying just a few minutes from the train station was so convenient, allowing me to easily explore beautiful peasholm park and the charming scarborough art gallery during my weekend strolls. The friendly staff really helped enhance my time there as well.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfasts, particularly the eggs Benedict, were excellent value for money. The paint around the window was peeling, and the complementary teas weren't replenished . The lack of on-site parking was inconvenient, though cheap options were nearby.
